In 2012, Cyndi Fenton envisioned giving her swim team a place to call home, and since that time has sought a way and a place to make this possible. Although, the plans to build an aquatic center have fallen through, she continues to be involved in aquatic activities in the community. Her five children have all swum competitively, and she coaches and teaches children to swim. In 2023, she and her son, Gavin, began managing what was formerly known as “Seahorse Swim School”, now shortened to Seahorse as they want to keep the iconic name of the pool. It is their desire to continue the Seahorse legacy of family fun and most importantly-teaching people of all ages to swim.
